Event listing in Trips section

While a required field for trips, the list is incomplete. There were no Black Hills events, which I attended in 2006 (the 16th) as well as the Iron Range Jamboree in Minnesota, September of 2003.

The pics upload is a little weird, I tried using snapfish, but it doesn't seem to work. Also, some of the HTML formats are incorrect -- they overlap and/or scrunch some of the other pictures/words on the screens.

Overall a neat idea, but still a bit sticky.

Hey MNT, thx for the suggestions-- just added Black Hills (was there myself) and Iron Range for you, and feel free to send us more. We'll also start something like a "what event is missing?" thread here or new to collect more from members.

UPDATE 1: instead of creating a new thread, we added a "not here? tell us!" link from the event list field on the new MyTrips page directly to your post here so other members can drop suggestions as well.

UPDATE 2: we also added a "[suggest other]" option in the event list for members to choose that until we include their missing-event suggestions.

thx

Photos (beta)

Yeah, we're currenly only supporting ImageShack, PhotoBucket, and Picasa... more of a coding limitation than anything else, but hope to have Flickr support added as well.

Meanwhile, another method that's becoming more popular is for members to create a still-image montage video, basically just a video of all their still pics, and upload to YouTube for inclusion in the MyTrips. The videos in our trip finder section of official JJUSA events uses this technique.

thx & keep the ideas rolling in

Browser & Platform

Hey can you let us know what browser (e.g., Internet Explorer 3, etc) you're using and on what platform (e.g., Windows, Mac, etc)?
