Note On Land Usage
Many Jeep Jamboree USA events are held on private lands with the consent of landowners, or on public lands through special use permits. In some cases, Jamboree trail groups are granted access to trail areas that are closed to all other vehicular access during the year. Please be aware that access to these trail areas is allowed only by guided JJUSA groups during the scheduled Friday and Saturday trail rides. Individual Jamboree guests returning later to drive in these areas on their own do so in violation of JJUSA’s land use agreements and endanger future Jamboree usage of these restricted trails as well as being removed from the Jamboree without refund. Thank you for your cooperation in assuring Jamboree access to some of America’s most spectacular backcountry.
We make every effort to only refer you to fun places that are open and welcoming to the public. However, we cannot keep continually updated on every location. Please follow these Tread Lightly! guidelines whenever you travel:
- Travel and recreate with minimum impact
- Respect the environment and the rights of others
- Educate yourself, plan and prepare before you go
- Allow for future use of the outdoors, leave it better than you found it
- Discover the rewards of responsible recreation

- YOU are solely responsible for taking all precautions and arranging all permissions to visit any location that theunpaved™ mentions, refers, or covers, either on a broadcast episode, on our website, or in person.
- We cannot be held responsible for your misconduct or transgressions, intentional or otherwise.
- While we personally visit and evaluate as many locations and facilities as we can, we cannot be responsible for your safety.
Any mention of a location or facility on theunpaved™ does not represent our endorsement or approval that the location or facility is safe, legal, or open to the general public. You are required to take all necessary safety precautions, obtain all necessary permissions, and otherwise research the area, location, or facility before visiting.
