If available for a reasonable price, would you ever consider renting a Jeep for Jeep Jamboree events?
Sometimes, but it'd have to be agile (Wrangler 2 or 4 door, etc)

Sometimes, but it'd have to be comfy (Grand Cherokee, etc)

With our Jeeps being so individual, would you ever think about renting?
This poll just to gauge member interest, but definitely drop your vote and comment on whatever comes to mind, like:
- Yes/Maybe
some reasons to consider renting might be... if an event was too far away (time-wise) to drive out, to test out a different Jeep model from the one you currently own, if you don't yet own a Jeep (e.g., a passenger/visitor) but want to try off-road driving, etc.
- Nope
some reasons to never rent might be... because you already spent next year's salary on upgrading your own rig and sure plan to get it some trail action, because you have particular tastes/needs that a generic rental can't meet, etc
Personally I would rather ruin mine and fix it myself. I would hate to be responsible for anything other than my own. However on the flip side of that coin, I think it would be a great lure to get new people interested in the Jeep brand and really show 'em what even a stuck vehicle is capable of. For those that don't own a Jeep I think would be a pretty sweet experience
Only In A Jeep OIIIIO
Since most people spend time and money making their Jeep a personal expression, how could a rental fill that need? I want to see what MY Jeep will do, then I want to "enhance" it and try again. I want pictures of MY Jeep in places other people wouldn't stand. If I want to see what another Jeep can do, I'll watch the guy ahead of me on the trail!
Maybe for someone wanting to attend an event but they don't own a Jeep themselves, or haven't decided to buy one. They could use that as a way to see how it all works without having to commit. But, where's the fun in that?
My first Jeep experience was in a rental in Silverton Colorado. It was a stock TJ. Because of the fun and adventure we had - my brother and I both bought Jeep products and have poured insane amounts of money into them. So, I would say YES to Jeep Jamboree rentals - but make sure they are all Wranglers (2 and 4 doors). Some folks just can't own a Jeep due to many honest reasons - (money/where they live/already have too many cars) But these folks are looking at getting into the sport without having to fork our $20,000 for a Jeep. But the people that already have Jeeps - drive your own! Save the rentals for the newbees!
