I know Warn is world famous for winches, but are their skid plates any good? What about Skid Row? Or all the other plate manufacturers? I picked these two because their pricing is very similar, and their specs seem to be pretty much the same as well. So I guess does it just boil down to appearance, or are there differences that might not be so obvious? What do you think?

New Jeep® commercial for Wrangler... looks like fun, but what also might be cool would be to create a commercial out of member-submitted clips, like a mash-up montage using real Jeep owner footage?

I have a 2007 Wrangler X, it has a "Trail Rated" emblem on it, not exactly sure if that helps me or not but anyway it's all stock off the showroom floor. Am I ok to go on a jamboree? I talked to a tire place and I guess my tires are 30" (P245/75R16) and it says M+S on them which I'm guessing is mud/snow? Any advice would be helpful, I don't want to sign up and then be out of luck.

Thanks,

Autoblog asks if Jeep® should be its own brand.

...it is extremely unlikely that the Jeep brand would die, considering just how well-known and recognized the iconic name is around world. CNW Marketing Research studies indicate that the public-at-large would prefer to see all of the Pentastar's products wearing the revered Jeep badge...

Ongoing project...next item to install are bumpers & winch. Smiling

admin says Member Profiles - update your Jeep Model Code Selection

To improve consistency and display, we've also changed the way we store your Jeep model code (e.g., JK, YJ, CJ, etc) information-- instead of a text entry field, which can lead to a wide range of different and inconsistent formats, we've created a drop-down "selection" list for your profiles.

This selection list will make choose a model code faster, and displaying like-members more consistent.
